Responsibilities to include, but not be limited to:
The primary objective is to develop and cultivate consultant industry relationships with a focus on commercial results by:
o Developing and executing a macro and micro marketing strategy for the firm’s various long-only and alternative strategies with consultants.
o Driving the product ratings lifecycle with research and the utilization process with field consultant stakeholders.
o Coordinating marketing efforts with the President and Chief Operating Officer of the firm, members of the Marketing/Client Advisory team, and the investment teams
o Developing a thorough understanding of the firm’s investment strategies, solutions, products, and structures and being able to present these in a compelling way to prospects
Requirements:
-Strong understanding of credit-oriented asset classes
-Current knowledge of, and relationships with Tier 1, 2 consultants nationally
-Ability to excel in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced, competitive work environment
-High energy, outgoing, results-oriented personality with strong work ethic and high self-motivation
-Ability to work independently of others while also collaborating closely within a small team
-5-10+ years of relevant consultant relations experience
-Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
-BA/BS required; MBA and CFA preferred, not required
