The resources and services offered by Career Development will help you assess your strengths and skills, explore diverse industries and functions, prepare you for the application and interview processes, and guide you as you apply for positions.

What Can I Do?

Demonstration of developed skills throughout the employment application process, along with continued professional development.

• Ensure Handshake profile is 100% complete and is public to employers
• Update search alerts in Handshake, CareerShift, and other job sites
• Subscribe to the Career Development emails and updates through our website and select your specific career preferences or interests for targeted support.
• Check the KSB newsletter regularly and review our website for upcoming events
• Create tailored cover letters for each application
• Join as an E-Board member to a student club you are interested in
• Prepare for interviews by researching the company and preparing questions
• Send thank you letters/emails after interviews
• Withdraw from other processes once role has been accepted
• Complete AU’s graduation survey (during final semester) with my job offers/acceptance
