Ayomide is a JD/MBA candidate at American University. After receiving his undergraduate in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, Ayomide rolled right into the JD/MBA program where he’s driven by a pure sense of making a difference in the world through effective leadership.

>> My name is Iomeda Olulule [assumed spelling], and I'm a JD MBA candidate at American University. I went into the JD MBA program after majoring in politics and philosophy economics at PIT, where I graduated in 2013. And if you can't tell, you know, I'm a generalist at heart, and I have a wide range of interests. But ultimately, those interests all align with leadership. I want to make a difference with people, and through people. And actually in a week's time, next Monday, I'll be traveling to Dubai. And that is a program specifically for JD MBA candidates through the Kogod School of Business, where I just finished up my immersion year. And this is a pilot program where originally, fulltime MBA students went on a global consulting project. So they would go to Israel, or India, or China, or what have you. And the director of that program actually just made it so through a lot of great work working with the UAE Embassy, working with different partners here in DC, and in Dubai, and Abu Dhabi to get this program underway. So that's just one example of things that a JD MBA would get to do. If you're a law student, you're not likely to be able participate in such a thing. But also, if you're a business student, you're probably not working on the subject matter that we'll be working on with this client. So we'll be looking at the different regulatory barriers that this technology company, a tech startup, has into entering the US. So it touches on so many different things, political economy, regulatory law, marketing, strategy, all these different things we get to bring our knowledge to bear, and it will be a great opportunity to add some value.
