We have many different ways to engage with our students and are always happy to help cater to the needs of your company.
Post Positions
Post your jobs and internships now on the Kogod Talent Network through 12Twenty!
Internships for Credit
Internships taken for credit allow students to gain hands-on experience alongside their coursework. Internships for credit last at least the semester’s length but can last longer if the student and employer agree.
Micro-internships
Micro internships are short experiences hyper-focused on a specific industry and skill set. Employers can submit short-term projects and tasks, lasting 5-40 hours, to get student expertise for their company while helping students gain hands-on skills for their resume.
In-Class Projects
In-class projects allow students to serve as consultants for real clients under a professor’s guidance. Clients communicate directly with the professor and student teams to accomplish the goals outlined in a statement of work. Students apply course concepts and strategize in real time as the project progresses, resulting in a set of deliverables for the client at the end of the course.
Case Competitions
Case competitions present student teams with a challenge or opportunity faced by an organization. Companies can submit a business problem or entrepreneurial opportunity, and participants work together to recommend solutions to company leadership.
International
Through Kogod Global Learning and AU Abroad, there are over 100 international experiences to choose from. Students can study, participate in internships, and consult for international businesses, including more than 30 accredited and approved business programs in over 20 countries.
Volunteer
Kogod Student Development hosts several student organizations engaged in volunteer work. Small businesses and employers can partner with student clubs for regular or intermittent volunteer opportunities to help meet the needs of their organization.
Guest Speakers
Our students love to hear from real people engaged in the industry, especially Kogod alumni. There are opportunities for everyone, from small business owners to large company CEOs, to share their expertise with our students.
Employer Expo/Career Fair
Showcase your company and positions directly to students at our Kogod Expo every semester.
Treks or Site Visits
Bring our students to visit your company or location. This is a great way for our students to learn more about your company and see things in action.
