Using AI for Interview Prep

AI can help you practice common questions, generate role-specific prompts, and organize STAR stories. Use it to prepare, not to perform for you. Your final answers should be authentic, accurate, and based on experiences you can discuss in detail.

Use AI to:

  • generate practice questions based on a job description
  • identify skills an employer may test
  • organize STAR examples
  • practice concise responses
  • prepare questions to ask the interviewer

Do not:

  • read AI-generated answers during a live interview
  • claim experience you do not have
  • memorize scripts that do not sound like you
  • upload confidential employer case materials
  • rely on AI for facts you have not verified
